Did you know... desktop sticky notes
This "sticky notes" program is free

How did we manage before "Sticky Notes" were
invented?
If you're anything like me, you probably have a few
sticky notes on the fridge, on the buffet table, on the back of
the front door and on the computer monitor. I can't offer you a
solution for the fridge, buffet table or front door, but I can
suggest a solution for those notes on your computer monitor -
digital sticky notes. That's right, rather than stick them
on your computer, stick them in your
computer!
Hott Notes is a wonderful piece of free software which
allows you create digital sticky notes and "stick" them to your
desktop or hide them from view.

note
You can create as many sticky notes as you need
and allocate them different colours, different fonts and sizes,
you can write and/or draw on them, make them as small or as
large as you need and even set an alarm for each so that it
pops-up at on a particular date and time. Creating a new note
is easy, simply click on the Hott Notes icon which resides in
the system tray (the row of icons on the bottom right of the
screen) after you've installed the software.

Hott Notes options
Hott Notes is a well written program with many
features and options. If you opt to "hide" your notes, they
don't display on your desktop. There's no fear of losing them
though, the "Notebook" allows you to see all your notes at a
glance.

The Notebook displays all your notes
If you regularly scribble little (or large)
notes and stick them to your monitor, try Hott Notes. It's free
(or you can contribute a donation - it's optional - to the
upkeep of the program), it meets a definite need and it works
well. Hott Notes is written by a University student, so I'm
sure that any donation won't go astray.
We use it and love it. You can find out more
and download a copy here.
