If computers and computing technology leave you feeling a little lost or helpless, you're not alone. There are a couple of generations of us (more mature individuals) who have yet to come to grips with the latest "technological advances". Our kids and grandkids seem to have picked it all up and run with it without too much effort, yet understanding some of the more basic concepts still seems to elude us. It's a difficult paradigm shift for us. After all, we grew up in a time when memorising the times tables and having neat handwriting were critical necessities for entering high school. Today, our kids have calculators, word processors and computers to perform those "menial" tasks for them.

Yes, "the times they are a'changing".
